Bicycle Friendly Community Renewal Application (2026)

 The Town’s Bicycle Friendly Community designation (award) given to communities after completing a
comprehensive application has to be renewed every 4 years. As such, Bike Mansfield with
assistance from the Town’s Engineering Department, Eastern Regional Health District, and Town
Manager’s Office was instrumental in completing the application and submitting it to the League of
American Bicyclists by the June 18 th deadline. The application notes all the bicycle-related plans,
projects and activities that have taken place since the last renewal iu 2022, not the least of which was
the adoption of the Master Plan for bicycles and pedestrians.
