2026 Ride of Silence
During the annual Bike Month in May, a Worldwide Ride of Silence is held to honor those who have been killed in a bicycle crash.
This year’s ride (on May 20th) began at the Mansfield Town Hall parking lot and looped through and around the UConn campus — complete with a UConn police escort.
The ride is held in total silence, and participants are given a black ribbon to attach to their bicycle.
